Does Horse Haven offer partial or pasture board?
Horse Haven is an explicitly a full-care boarding facility where all horses care is included in the cost of board. A deposit is required to hold a stall, and will be used as payment after the 30 day notices that is require per termination of contract.
Does Horse Haven offer an established lesson program?
Horse Haven is open to all riding disciplines. Because of this, we do not have a on-site trainer or lesson program. We want all boarders of all disciplines to feel equally welcome, valuable, and respected.
Does Horse Haven require me to use their Veterinarian and Farrier?
Horse Haven wants everyone to be able to pick the Vet or Farrier that is right for them. The College Station/Bryan area is home to many skilled & excellent horse care professionals. We simply require their contact information be recorded in your boarding contract so we know who to reach in case of emergency.
Does Horse Haven required a deposit?
Yes we do, it is the same amount as your monthly board, this will secure and reserve you stall. It will also cover the last payment following after a 30 day written noticed.
How often are horses turned out?
Horses are turned out according to owner preference depending on the season. In the case of inclement weather such as rain, hail, or extreme heat all horses are kept indoors. Talking about weather... YES we will blanket your horse as requested.
